¡Hola! My name is María and I'm from Mexico. I have a BA in Languages and a certification to teach Spanish as a foreign languages. My classes use a blended methodology that incorporates grammar and communication activities in a laid-back and dynamic way. I have hand picked or created all the materials according to the needs of my students and I often use resources like audios, videos and games to make the lesson more interactive. I like to experiment with technology to create more engaging lessons My main goal is to help my students feel confortable expressing themselves and learn at their own pace.

I have three years of teaching experience, two of them as an online tutor. As a teacher, I have worked with students of all ages but I specialize on adult learners. My students have been people of al age groups and walks of life. I've thought people who want to use Spanish for work, travel or have simply picked it up as a hobby.

Besides being a teacher I am also a graduate student. In the past, I have worked as a translator and curriculum designer.
