Bio:

Hello everyone! If you are looking to acquire French or English in a result-oriented way, I may just be the teacher for you. I speak these 2 languages as a native and have years of experience teaching online. I made my latest student achieve B1 level in under 200 hours in French, which should say something about my approach. I like results!

My teaching background:

I started in a traditional language school, but quickly saw that there were more opportunities online. I then worked for a company for 3 years teaching English as a first language, I taught my own customers on the side... and everyday just progressed and invented better exercises. I met people from all over the world and noticed that I could teach French to speakers of English very well because I knew their language as well as them. I also taught English to speakers of French for several years. It's very handy to be a native speaker of 2 languages!

My background outside of teaching:

I think that in this industry there are many myths about how language learning works. I've helped people get to B1 level through good old-fashioned talking and teaching in under a year. Guess what? There were no "free apps" involved : ) I'm one of those teachers who chose to study languages and teaching at university because it interests me. I get a lot of satisfaction from enabling learners meet their goals. I can genuinely say it is my life's pursuit to find the best way in which we can teach a language. I talk about teaching all the time and my wife gets tired of it ! Culturally, I'm a mixture of several things which explains why I have 2 native languages.
