Bio:

We could have lots of fun! Hi, I’m Andy. Nice to meet you! I have a degree in Hotel Management but guess what? Teaching is my super power! I am a certified native Spanish teacher for children with more than 15 years of teaching experience and I would like to show you what we can accomplish together.

My teaching methodology:
Creativity and a sense of humor are the two concepts that best describe me as a teacher. I believe in a student-centered classroom where every child can grow as a Spanish learner. I will use all type of resources, from digital to concrete: platforms, worksheets, games, songs, videos, books, pencils, household items and anything my students and I are able to create. Our imagination is the limit!
My teaching background:

I received my first degree in Hotel Management. I continued my studies as an English teacher for children and completed my certificate of Spanish Teaching for Foreign Students. I’ve worked for 15+ years, grades K-8. I transitioned to online instruction where Spanish students thrive!

My background outside of teaching:

When I’m not teaching, you can usually find me sitting at my computer illustrating. Art is always present in my class; it's a fantastic tool to boost kids' creativity! I have 3 pets that I love to spoil. So, be prepared to see a wagging tail peeking from the corner of the screen once in a while!
