Bio:
With experience in teaching children, adolescents, as well as adults, I am adept at meeting the learning needs of a variety of students, providing thorough support and making the lesson fun and stimulating. I believe that 1-to-1 lessons and conversations are the best way to teach and learn a second language; that's why I care a lot about matching each lesson to the student's needs.
My teaching methodology:
My teaching background:
I worked for four years as a teaching assistant at an English language school in Greece, where I taught Greek adolescent learners of English. In Greece I provided extra private tutoring to students with learning difficulties. I've also taught Italian and Japanese adult students in Italy and the UK.
My background outside of teaching:
I have a MSc in Applied Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition from the University of Oxford and I am really interested in understanding the most effective way of learning a foreign language.
