Bio:
To be effective, learning must touch the brain and the heart. I use topics that are of interest to students to design classes that keep students motivated and interested. At the same time, students need to have a bit of difficulty. If not, there is no improvement. My lessons are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.
My teaching methodology:
I try to use as much student generated material as possible so that classes are as relevant as possible for students. Additionally, I use news media, videos, podcast and conversation. I want classes to not only meet students needs, but to be fun, interesting and challenging.
My teaching background:
I currently teach exclusively online. I have also taught academic writing at a private university, in language schools, primary and secondary schools, I've also worked as a private tutor (face-to-face as well as online).
My background outside of teaching:
I've worked in IT/MIS and accounting/finance in banking, insurance and construction. I've also worked in tourism.
