English is your gateway to travel, business, and beyond! I'm here to help you practice speaking English fluently so that you can meet your personal and professional goals. The best way to improve your English is to practice! Together we can work on conversation, pronunciation, grammar, listening, and reading. In our first class, I will get to know you and your needs so that I can design lessons just for you. My goal is to help you feel confident speaking English in any situation. See you soon!

My teaching background:
I have been a teacher for over ten years working with students from all around the world. I love helping my students to improve their English skills to progress toward their personal and professional goals. I taught grade one at international primary schools in both China and Cambodia. I have also worked in an IELTS test prep center for students and professionals preparing to go abroad to English-speaking countries. I have been teaching English online for five years working with both kids and adults. I love helping my students practice English conversation, pronunciation, and grammar. I always strive for our classes to be both productive and fun!
My background outside of teaching:
I graduated from The University of Pittsburgh in the USA in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Speech Therapy) and a minor in Japanese. Some of my hobbies are writing, videography, and yoga. I love learning different languages and traveling is my biggest passion. I understand the importance of connecting and communicating in a new language, which is why I love helping my students learn English! In 2011 my husband and I moved to a small city in northeastern China to teach English. Since then we have been living, teaching, and traveling all around the world together in Asia, Europe, and South America. We also have a blog and a YouTube channel where we share our travel experiences and help others follow their travel dreams. I love to teach students who also have a passion for traveling and learning about different cultures. I would love to hear all about your experiences and future goals in our class!
