I have a passion for English that carried me all the way to a different continent, so I could share my knowledge and grasp of the language with others that hadn't previously been exposed to it. I have worked with multiple age groups and have managed to create healthy and lively dynamics with all of them, regardless of language barrier and cultural differences. I am very fun, energetic, encouraging and just overall very enthusiastic !

I have been an English teacher- abroad, since 2023 and I recently left the ESL field this year. I have had the pleasure of teaching children that have never interacted with someone from outside their race and country before, and some who had never spoken English before. The privilege to teach fresh, unmoulded, and willing minds is one that is incomparable as it allows you to take on a role bigger than that of just merely a teacher.

I have a fondness for learning that motivates me to always be looking for the next opportunity to grow myself as an individual. I am currently working towards completing the second year of my PGCE this year. I would like to think this speaks to my dedication as a person who enjoys teaching and helping people reach their full potential, as the teaching field is different to my initial career field. I had the privilege of learning English from birth but I have made friends and acquaintances, that were not awarded the same opportunity I was and I felt a sense of duty to help and guide them on their journey with the English language. This same sense of duty is what has driven me to stay motivated and dedicated to helping others reach their optimum best- in different aspects and avenues of life.
