Bio:
Hello, My name is Ami and I am Certified TEFL tutor with 4+ years Experience. I have taught online as well as in the classroom. I teach Kids and Adults, I have experience with prepping students for exams like IELTS and ACT English, I also have experience with business and conversational English. In my classes I make sure my students are relaxed and I help them achieve their learning goals. I believe learning can be fun.

My teaching background:
I worked as a supplementary course tutor for a year. I assessed the strength of my students and helped them with their problem areas. I have taught Japanese adults, I focused on conversational English and Business English because they needed this for their jobs and daily interactions with colleagues. I was successful in this area as one of my students was able to make a presentation for a conference in English, she was a Doctor. I also taught Vietnamese kids aged 3 to 11, I successful enhanced their vocabulary and some of them were able to move from starters to movers I did this for about 2 years. I also trained my student for his IELTS exam in which he scored 8 as his overall score.
My background outside of teaching:
I have a Bachelors degree in Mass Communication and in the works of my Masters degree in Media and Communication. I worked in a finance firm, so I have a knowledge on finances, stocks, bonds, equities and shares. I used to advice my clients on some investments they could make to generate profit. Asides finance, I also taught people how to cook some meals and bake some desserts.
