Bio:

Hi, I'm Angelique! I help IT Professionals (data analysts/engineers/scientists, business intelligence analysts, QA developers, team leads, etc.) to speak confidently, communicate effectively, and present compelling stories to achieve positive results in the workplace. I customize my lessons to meet my clients' needs and love learning from them as much as they learn from me.

My teaching background:

I've been teaching English to speakers of other languages since 2008 in Canada and South Korea. I have taught children and adults from all over the world (North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa). My current focus is IT Professionals (especially in Data Science), but I have taught lawyers, doctors, and even other teachers!

My background outside of teaching:

I have studied web development, am studying data science now, and have worked in the tech industry in Quality Assurance, so I understand firsthand a lot of the challenges IT professionals experience when communicating in the workplace and with clients. I also worked in the Learning and Development field as a Training Development Officer for the government. Because I have lived in four countries, I'm able to adapt myself and my teaching to other cultures to make my clients more comfortable.
