PhD-qualified Arabic teacher helping students speak Arabic confidently through practical and cultural lessons.
Bio:
I am a PhD holder in Arabic Linguistics and an experienced Arabic teacher with over 9 years of teaching. I specialize in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers at all levels, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing. My lessons are student-centered, practical, and adapted to each learner’s goals. I combine language learning with cultural insights to help students use Arabic confidently in real-life situations.
My teaching methodology:
In my classes, students can expect a welcoming and motivating learning environment where lessons are tailored to their level and personal goals. I focus on developing all language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—while also introducing cultural aspects to make learning meaningful. I use a communicative, student-centered approach, combining interactive dialogues, role-plays, grammar explanations in context, and vocabulary exercises. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs and pace, making lessons flexible and enjoyable. I rely on a variety of exercises, including listening activities, reading comprehension, written tasks, and speaking practice. I also use authentic texts, multimedia, and real-life scenarios to help students apply what they learn immediately. All learning materials are shared directly in the virtual classroom, including worksheets, audio recordings, and exercises for practice outside of class, so students can review and progress confidently.
My teaching background:
I have over 9 years of experience teaching Arabic to both native and non-native speakers. I have taught in secondary schools as well as online as a private tutor, working with students of different ages, nationalities, and proficiency levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. My teaching focuses on building strong communication skills while supporting students with clear explanations and personalized guidance.
My background outside of teaching:
In addition to teaching, I have an academic background in Arabic linguistics and research. I am passionate about Arabic culture and enjoy highlighting cultural contexts in my lessons. I also have strong communication skills and a supportive teaching style, which help students feel comfortable, confident, and motivated throughout their learning journey.
