Hi! I'm Irina, a native Russian speaker and professional teacher with 17 years of experience. I teach adults from complete beginners to advanced learners. My lessons are structured, practical, and adapted to your goals. I explain grammar clearly, help you build vocabulary, and give you plenty of speaking practice so that you can understand how Russian works and use it with confidence.

My lessons are structured around your level, goals, and learning pace. We work on grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, and pronunciation as connected skills rather than isolated topics. I explain grammar in clear, practical language and then give you opportunities to use it in real communication. New vocabulary is regularly reviewed and reused, so you do not simply learn a list of words and forget it after the lesson. Depending on your level and goals, we may use dialogues, texts, speaking activities, role plays, discussions, listening practice, authentic video materials, interactive exercises, flashcards, and other digital resources. Previously studied material is regularly reviewed, and I adjust the amount and type of practice according to your progress. You will always know what you are learning, why you are learning it, and how it connects to what you already know.

I have 17 years of teaching experience and have worked with hundreds of adult students at different levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. I hold a Master's degree in Education and completed a Master's program in Russian as a Foreign Language at the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute. I teach General Russian, conversational Russian, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, and listening. I also help students prepare for TORFL (TRKI). I work with learners who study Russian for everyday communication, travel, family, personal interest, or exams. My lessons are always adapted to the student's level, goals, pace, strengths, and difficulties.

I am a native Russian speaker with a strong academic background in education and language learning. I value clear explanations, logical structure, and practical results. I am patient and comfortable explaining the same idea in different ways when necessary. I also believe that a good learning environment should be relaxed and supportive, so students can speak, experiment with the language, and make mistakes without feeling uncomfortable. I work well with adults who prefer organized lessons, clear goals, and a teacher who can explain not only what is correct, but why Russian works the way it does.
