Bio:
My classes are fun, friendly, and tailored to your goals. We’ll focus on real-life English you can use right away through conversations, role plays, and practical exercises. You’ll get clear, helpful materials to review after each lesson. With 10+ years of professional and community experience, I bring patience, encouragement, and strong people skills to help you learn with confidence.
My teaching methodology:
  • Use engaging materials like worksheets, visual aids, and interactive online tools to suit different learning styles.
  • Include quizzes, short tests, and informal assessments to track progress and identify areas to improve.
  • Incorporate fun activities such as role-plays, discussions, and problem-solving exercises to make learning interactive.
  • Encourage reading, writing, and creative projects to strengthen understanding and application.
  • Provide personalized feedback to help students improve at their own pace.
My teaching background:
I have 4 years of experience teaching English both face-to-face and online, working with students of all ages and levels. My classes are interactive, supportive, and designed around your goals, whether you want to improve conversation, grammar, pronunciation, or writing. I’ve taught young children, teenagers, and adults, adapting my methods to suit each learner’s pace and style. In my lessons, you’ll find a mix of fun activities like role plays, guided discussions, listening and reading tasks, and practical grammar exercises. I also create and share clear, easy-to-follow materials so you can keep practicing after class. Teaching both in-person and online has given me the skills to make lessons engaging, comfortable, and productive, no matter the format. My aim is to help you gain confidence, enjoy learning, and see real progress in your English skills.
My background outside of teaching:
Beyond teaching English, I bring over 10 years of experience as an accounting assistant, where I learned the value of clear communication, organization, and attention to detail — all of which help me create well-structured, easy-to-follow lessons. I’ve also spent many years in community leadership, running programs and leading group classes at my local church, which taught me how to connect with people from all walks of life. On the creative side, I run a small sewing business from home, which has strengthened my patience, problem-solving skills, and ability to think outside the box. These experiences allow me to adapt to different learning styles, make lessons engaging and relevant, and support my students not only in learning English but also in building the confidence to use it in real-life situations.
