My teaching background:
My approach combines teaching and coaching. I’ve taught countless classes to Vietnamese and international students for almost 2 years, focusing on fluency and natural communication in professional and everyday contexts. What makes my approach different is the emphasis on confidence-building: I guide students to overcome hesitation, practice speaking boldly, and develop lasting habits that lead to real improvement. Lessons are supportive, practical, and tailored to each learner’s personal and professional goals.
My background outside of teaching:
My background is a little different — I started out as a personal trainer, working on cruise ships and traveling the world before settling in Rio de Janeiro. Along the way, I met people from many different cultures and realized how powerful communication is. As someone learning Brazilian Portuguese myself, I know the struggles of expressing yourself in a new language. That’s why I focus on making English lessons clear, encouraging, and useful for everyday life. I believe learning should be motivating and confidence-building, helping students unlock new opportunities in work, study, and travel.
