My teaching background:
I have been teaching English as a foreign language since gaining my CELTA in 2020. In that time I have taught countless students of all ages and backgrounds with a range of motivations. In particular, I have helped students working towards IELTS and Cambridge English exams, but I have also offered essay guidance for university students and business english lessons for those who need english for professional purposes. Outside of TEFL, I have a PGCE and extensive experience teaching English Language and Literature, History, Geography and Politics.
My background outside of teaching:
I have a BA in my History, my true academic passion, and an MA in Politics and Contemporary History. I currently live in Switzerland, while I have also lived in France, Canada, Poland and my native country the UK. I love football, cooking and reading while I regularly complete fitness challenges. In addition, I volunteer in my spare time, having done so in politics for the Liberal Democrats and for Action Against Hunger.
