Bio:

Students should expect a good level of fun balanced with some more rigorous grammar work. I pride myself on my rapport with my students and the ability to create a comfortable, calm teaching environment which is conducive to high level language learning I can help you with any area of English, whether that is grammar, reading, pronunciation and everything in between. I have experience with all ages, from 4-60, so i'm confident I can help you, whatever your needs

My teaching background:

I have been an English language teacher for just over 2 and a half years now, and I've managed to get experience in many different areas. I've taught both online and in person at a school in central London. Throughout my teaching i've taught across all different ages and levels, from kids and teenagers, to young adults, adults and mature learners. Most of my teaching experience has been in general English but I have also completed an Exam Teaching course this Summer, so I am equipped to help with some exams, including IELTS and Cambridge English. My students have hailed from all corners of the globe, including Brazil, Mexico, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Ghana and more, so I have experience dealing with different L1s and the different language challenges they present

My background outside of teaching:

I graduated from the University of Manchester in 2020 with a 2:1 in philosophy. Since I was 17 i've had many jobs in pubs/cafes and the like. I've also done a fair amount of work in documentary production as a production assistant/researcher.
