Bio:
I’m a professional language teacher, who is a language enthusiast and loves to learn more about countries and cultures. I believe language learning is a process that takes time and effort. It results in a better understanding of language, culture, and worldview, bringing us closer to one another and enriching our daily and professional lives.

My teaching background:
You learn better with lessons designed around your needs, difficulties and expectations. For this reason, I only teach individual lessons to adults, where we can discuss topics that interest you. You’ll receive exclusive feedback to make the most of your lessons. If you want to develop your language skills and learn studying techniques to help you progress, book a lesson now and start to build your language skills in a way that matters to you.
My background outside of teaching:
Before being a teacher I worked as a court clerk in Brazil, and as an administrative assistant and interpreter in the UK, where I also did some volunteer work for the Citizens Advice Bureau and Cancer Research UK. During this time my interest in languages and other cultures kept reminding me I should work in something that I enjoy and had a sincere interest in. I went to Brazil in 2014, where I completed the CELTA certification and taught in a local school. I also worked in English language immersion events and translation (English-Portuguese). Since 2020, I have been working as an online language teacher on several teaching platforms, which I believe gives more than freedom of space and time to both the student and teacher, but also allows for a more interactive and productive learning experience for both participants, giving the teacher the chance to focus on the student’s needs 100%, and the students the chance to have personalised lessons.
