Bio:
Hi, I'm Elsje! I'm a South African, who grew up abroad. I’m flexible and open-minded promoting an inclusive and active learning environment. I’ve had the privilege to pursue studies abroad which exposed me to various cultures, languages, learning environments, and learning styles. With this, I wish to share my experiences and gained wisdom with my students. My passion for serving and teaching others as I have become entrenched in community service enjoying helping others and seeing them grow.

My teaching background:
I have primarily taught individuals of school-going age while specializing in reading, hereby focusing on vocabulary and sentence structure. Additionally, I have spent ample time helping students find their study method, prepare for exams and write motivational letters for future studies. I have enjoyed teaching students how to proofread, condense, and simplify report writing in various fields of study.
My background outside of teaching:
I have had the privilege to attend multiple IB (International Baccalaureate) schools, hereby able to assist any students pursuing the IB curriculum. I have lived in various countries and have ample traveling experience so allow me to help you prepare for a trip abroad or to learn more about the world we live in. I have pursued tertiary education in the field of Public Health (Bsc) and currently pursuing studies in visual communication and design.
