Supprtive CELTA-certified teacher helping students succeed in IELTS and improve their General and Academic English :)
Bio:
I am a qualified English teacher with a CELTA Pass A, completed in the UK, and TESOL training. I have experience teaching IELTS preparation, Academic English, and General English. Studying and training fully in English has given me a clear understanding of the challenges learners face. I design structured, well-organised lessons using reliable coursebooks and authentic materials to help students make steady progress and build real communication confidence. Come join me in our English journey!
My teaching methodology:
My classes are interactive, well-structured, and focused on real progress. I combine engaging activities with clear learning goals to make lessons both effective and enjoyable. *Materials & Activities I use a mix of custom-made materials, coursebooks, authentic texts, videos, and online tools. Lessons include speaking practice, interactive tasks, role-plays, and games, always used with a clear purpose. *Evaluation Every 8 lessons or at the end of a unit, we have a revision and evaluation lesson to review progress, identify strengths, and focus on areas that need improvement.
My teaching background:
I have three years of experience teaching English in a language school and as both a face-to-face and online private tutor. I hold a CELTA Pass A completed in the UK, TESOL training, and an IELTS Teachers course certificate from a school partnered with IDP IELTS. I have taught learners of different ages and proficiency levels, but I specialise in higher-level students preparing for IELTS and improving their Academic or General English. My lessons are structured, interactive, and student-centred. I use a mix of trusted coursebooks as well as authentic materials such as YouTube videos, films, and articles. I plan lessons carefully, including warm-ups and reflection stages, and I aim to build students’ confidence, accuracy, and real communication skills. I enjoy helping learners make measurable progress and reach their goals step by step.
My background outside of teaching:
I have a bachelor’s degree in Creative Management from Collegium Da Vinci in Poznań, Poland. I started teaching while I was still a student and quickly realised I wanted to make it my full-time career. Living and studying in English has helped me understand the real challenges learners face, which I now apply in my teaching. I have passed the IELTS exam with an overall band score of 8.0, which allows me to support students not only as a teacher, but also as someone who has personally gone through the exam process. Outside of teaching, I enjoy learning new skills and often attend workshops where I can work with my hands and try something creative. I also love learning languages myself, as it helps me stay connected to the learning process from a student’s perspective. I’m organised, curious, and always looking for new ways to grow - both personally and professionally.
