I am a dedicated German and Spanish tutor with four years of experience, teaching both children and adults (ages 8 to 55). Since the transition to online learning, I have refined my approach to make language acquisition engaging and effective. My lessons combine structured textbook learning with a variety of supplementary materials, including podcasts, short films, and translation exercises, to create a well-rounded learning experience. I specialize in exam preparation for Goethe (German), Telc (German), and DELE (Spanish), helping students achieve their certification goals with tailored study plans, interactive exercises, and targeted practice. Listening comprehension is a key focus in my lessons, and I provide additional resources to strengthen this skill both in class and as homework. To keep students motivated, each session starts with a fun, interactive icebreaker in the target language.
My background outside of teaching:
I am multilingual, speaking six languages: Armenian, English, German, Spanish, and I have some knowledge of Persian and Russian. My diverse linguistic background, combined with my experience in Erasmus programs, translation, and my teaching certificate, allows me to bring international insights into my teaching. I have the DELE certificate for advanced levels of Spanish and also the Language Teaching Certificate for German and Spanish. My approach is innovative and personalized, going beyond traditional school methods to create a more engaging and effective learning experience. I focus on real-world communication, cultural context, and practical application of the language, making lessons immersive and enjoyable for learners of all levels.
