Bio:
I am an experienced English, French, and Drama teacher working with learners of all ages and levels. My lessons are interactive, practical, and studentcentred, focusing on communication, confidence, and real-life language use. I adapt each lesson to the learner’s goals and pace, combining structured teaching with creative activities. Drama techniques such as roleplay and improvisation help students express themselves, improve fluency, and build self-confidence in a positive learning environment.
My teaching methodology:
In my classes, students can expect interactive and engaging lessons tailored to their goals and level. I use a variety of materials, including textbooks, authentic reading and listening resources, videos, and online tools, to make learning practical and enjoyable. Lessons often include conversation practice, role-play, games, and creative activities, especially in Drama, to develop confidence and self-expression. I provide regular feedback and informal evaluations to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and ensure each student feels motivated and supported. My aim is to make every lesson effective, fun, and memorable.
My teaching background:
I have over 13 years of experience teaching English and French to a wide range of students, from children in primary school to teenagers and adults. I have worked in schools, private lessons, and online settings, helping students with language acquisition, exam preparation, school support, and confidence in speaking. My approach is always adapted to each student’s level, goals, and learning style, combining structured teaching with interactive and creative activities.
My background outside of teaching:
Beyond language teaching, I have a strong background in Drama and the performing arts, which I incorporate into my lessons to make learning more interactive, engaging, and confidence-building. I have experience working with children, teenagers, and adults in various settings, which has taught me how to adapt lessons to different personalities and learning styles. My creativity, patience, and enthusiasm help students feel motivated, comfortable, and inspired to learn and express themselves.
