Bio:
I'm an experienced teacher who's taught both adults and teenagers, as well as individuals and groups. I'm used to teaching communicatively to make sure students get to practice new language in conversation at each lesson. I like dynamic lessons with a variety of activities, and I make use of online tools to make them engaging. I love using authentic resources and discussing news, articles from famous magazines, and extracts from YouTube shows on a wide range of topics.
My teaching methodology:
My teaching background:
I've been teaching English since 2016, when I got my first job as a secondary school teacher. I moved on to teach at a large language school in 2018, where I got the chance to work with adults and teenagers, and I was lucky to teach corporate students from companies like Bosch, Bayer, and others. In 2022 I decided to become an independent language tutor, which would allow me to be flexible and plan my own schedule. I got my CELTA certificate from Cambridge Assessment the same year and continue working with students of different levels, delivering efficient and useful language training.
My background outside of teaching:
Apart from teaching, I enjoy travelling, reading, and cooking. I try to stay up-to-date with the news and make sure to improve my own language skills with daily practice. I organise a pub quiz as a hobby (it's my second job as well), and it enables me to meet interesting people and learn new things about our beautiful world!
