Bio:
I'm a Sound Therapist, Musician & Mural Artist. I also facilitate Yoga Classes & Women' s Circles . I worked for 9 years as a Youth Worker & Carer. I'm passionate about Alternative Healing Methods. My teaching style is based on the Humanistic Theory, focusing on students' individual needs, interests & goals. I aspire to lift students' self-esteem & sense of achievement. I focus on making my classes fun & engaging, which I feel is the best way to learn & retain new language skills.

My teaching background:
I have taught as a private tutor (face-to-face), in NGOs in Peru. I mainly taught English in a home for homeless boys, aged 7 to 18 during holidays & after school for one year. I assisted them with their homework & taught them simple songs. As I am a professional Youth Worker, I have experience in finding a balance between discipline & making classes fun & engaging. For the last few months I have been teaching many individuals online. They are interested in focusing on building their fluency so we work on discussing topics & articles of their choosing. While I was growing up in France both my parents were ESL teachers. . I attended many of their classes & enjoyed participating & assisting my parents in their classes. So I have been familiar with TEFL skills and strategies from an early age.
My background outside of teaching:
I am a hardworking & qualified TEFL teacher with strong organizational & leadership skills. Naturally gifted in relating well to people of all ages and backgrounds and uplifting their sense of wellbeing & achievement. I have a wide range of personal interests & enjoy being attentive to other people’s interests which enables me to bond easily with students & assist them in reaching their personal goals. I empathetically sense the strengths, weaknesses & the wellbeing needs of others. I consider myself an enthusiastic, passionate & resourceful person, in tune & aligned with my inner essence. I am flexible, strategic, with a high level of creativity & problem solving skills. I'm a good listener, and also outgoing, naturally putting others at ease. I hold healing & uplifting abilities & an ability to assist others in finding drive & their inner essence.
