My name is Faith, and I'm excited to help you build confidence and fluency in English! I'm a certified TEFL tutor with experience teaching students from different backkground, and I love making lessons relaxed, interactive and practical. whether you want to improve your conversations skills, prepare for your work or travel, or simply speak English more naturally and confidently, I'm here to support you every step of the way. My teaching methodology:
Students can expect my classes to be interactive, supportive, and focused on their individual goals. I use a student-centered and communicative approach, with activities such as discussions, role-plays, grammar and vocabulary practice, listening exercises, and real-life materials. For exam preparation, I also use exam-style questions, timed practice, and targeted feedback. My main goal is to help students understand what they are learning and, most importantly, feel confident using it outside the classroom.
My teaching background:
I have 10 years of experience teaching English, including 7 years of in-person teaching and 3 years of online teaching. I have taught children, teenagers, and adults at different proficiency levels, through both one-on-one and group lessons. I specialize in speaking, pronunciation, grammar, fluency, and English proficiency exam preparation, including IELTS, CELPIP, and TOEFL.
My background outside of teaching:
Outside of teaching, I have professional experience in customer service, where I developed strong communication and interpersonal skills. I have also worked as a cold caller and data entry agent, which strengthened my skills in client communication, attention to detail, organization, and working with different people. These experiences have helped me become adaptable, professional, and confident in communicating effectively.
