Hello! My name is Namhla, and I’m a qualified and experienced English teacher from South Africa. I hold a Bachelor of Education degree specialising in the Intermediate Phase, as well as a 120-hour TEFL certificate. With over 7 years of teaching experience, I have taught students both in traditional classrooms and online, working with learners of different ages, backgrounds, and English levels.

During our lessons, I provide clear and supportive feedback on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and fluency. I also monitor your progress and adjust future lessons according to the areas you need to improve. Most importantly, you can expect a supportive environment where mistakes are welcomed as part of the learning process and where you can gradually become a more confident English speaker.

I have experience teaching children, teenagers, university students, and adults, from beginner to advanced levels. My teaching experience includes Conversational English, General English, Business English, IELTS and TOEFL preparation, grammar, writing, pronunciation, and English for everyday communication. I have worked with learners from countries including China, Japan, Poland, Moldova, and South Africa. I enjoy adapting my lessons to each student's individual goals, interests, and learning style, whether they want to improve their confidence in speaking, prepare for an exam, communicate more effectively at work, or simply become more comfortable using English in everyday situations.

I have a strong educational and professional background that has helped me develop excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills. I hold a Bachelor of Being from South Africa has also given me the opportunity to interact with people from many different cultures and perspectives. I am friendly, patient, adaptable, and genuinely enjoy meeting people from around the world. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy learning about different cultures, travelling, music, food, and having meaningful conversations. I believe these interests help me connect naturally with students and create conversations that are relevant, enjoyable, and useful in everyday life.
