With over a decade of teaching experience across different age groups and cultural contexts.
Bio:
I combine academic rigor with practical communication. My background in German Language and Literature, as well as my work as a translator and content writer, allows me to teach language not only as a system of grammar rules but as a living, cultural medium.
My teaching methodology:
My teaching methods are communicative and structured. I focus on: Active speaking practice from the very beginning Context-based grammar explanation rather than isolated rule memorization Vocabulary building through real-life scenarios and authentic materials Systematic exam preparation strategies for Goethe, ÖSD, and TELC formats I rely on a variety of exercises, including: Role plays and situational dialogues Guided writing tasks with detailed feedback Listening comprehension using authentic audio materials Text analysis for intermediate and advanced learners.
My teaching background:
Since 2011: Business, Goethe, ÖSD, TELC, primary- and secondary-school levels (all genders, age groups, diverse cultures);
My background outside of teaching:
Outside of teaching, I have worked as a translator and Product Content Writer for a Swiss company, creating and reviewing German and English content for international audiences. I co-authored a Serbian–German dictionary and have extensive experience in linguistic analysis and content development. Since December 2025, I have also been working as a Sales Representative in German, which has further strengthened my professional communication skills, negotiation abilities, and understanding of business language in real-world contexts.
