Welcome! My classes are conversation focused with custom feedback and corrections that will help you improve your fluency. You can expect our conversations to flow naturally and my genuine interest in getting to know you and your interests better! I can also help you with job interview preparation, oral exam practice for TOEFL and IELTS tests, improve your pronunciation and intonation, correct use of grammar tenses and structure, as well as vocabulary and phrases in your areas of interest.

I am a CELTA certified teacher with over 5 years of experience. Most recently I’ve been tutoring English online to professional adults for three years supporting them with their fluency, pronunciation, grammar and helping them prepare for job interviews in English. Before that, I was a face to face private tutor for students of various ages and levels, developing lesson plans catered to their needs and interests. I also have taught in primary schools in Thailand, Ecuador and Peru. Furthermore, I have a Master's degree in Linguistics and have been passionate about languages for as long as I can remember!

Aside from teaching, I am a passionate researcher in topics related to languages and cultures. Upon finalizing my Master’s degree in linguistics, I worked for about 2 years alongside university professors and local language advocates in Ecuador. I contributed to creating projects that support the maintenance of local indigenous languages and published an article regarding this process with the support of Leiden University in the Netherlands. Before becoming a full-time English teacher, I worked as a Community Projects and Volunteer Manager at an NGO in Peru where I designed, implemented, and supervised education projects and mentored international volunteers.
