Bio:
The lessons I provide are learner centred. This means that each lesson will focus on your English learning goals and needs. We will use a variety of activities like role-playing to help you speak more freely, games and quizzes to build your vocabulary and much more. My focus is to make each lesson fun, engaging and relevant to help you learn better. I only teach adults.
My teaching methodology:
- Well prepared and structured classes to suit your language level and needs.
- I use the communicative method to give you more speaking practice.
- We will use various materials including videos, podcasts, news articles, quizzes, exercises for grammar, useful handouts and much more.
My teaching background:
I hold a Master's degree in English along with TEFL and CELTA certifications, and a Master's in Empirical Linguistics. With over 11 years of experience teaching English to adults and undergraduate students, I am passionate about helping learners excel in all areas of the language, including vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, reading, writing, and grammar.
My background outside of teaching:
Apart from teaching, I'm currently pursuing a PhD in linguistics. I work as a freelance content writer and editor. From time to time, I conduct dance and macramé workshops for adults. In my free time, you will find me learning a foreign languages, reading a book or hanging out with friends. :) I always look forward to meeting new people and having exciting new conversations!
