My name is Clare, I am from the north of England, though I now live in Peru. In our classes we will discuss topics based on your needs, level and interests and keep it fun and interesting.
My teaching methodology:
I like to make my classes fun and interactive for the student in a relaxed learning environment.
Once I know their interests, needs and goals I like to incorporate these into the class through reading, speaking, listening exercises and also interactive word documents with exercises.
My teaching background:
I have 3 years experience teaching English. I have taught at schools in Peru to both children and adults. I have my TEFL certificate and currently teach private English classes in Peru.
My background outside of teaching:
Besides teaching I worked in the UK, New Zealand, Colombia and Mexico for the same American Insurance Company as a Liability Underwriter for many years. I also worked as Implementation Manger for them, for a new IT system that was being launched worldwide.
