Brienna Allen
Bio:
When you take a class with me, I will use our time to get to know you and your language learning goals. As a teacher, I value building strong relationships with my students so that you can feel safe, respected and encouraged throughout the process. Based on your goals, we can work together to create a plan of action that supports your learning in a fun, relaxed and engaging way. I know it can be scary taking lessons with a new teacher, so I will always be kind and friendly no matter your level!

My teaching background:
I have been teaching English since 2016. In that time, I have worked in a range of different settings including: language schools, high schools, universities and online. I have experience teaching English for Academic Purposes, IELTS, General English and English for High School. I have also taught students from ages 11+ and from a variety of different countries and language backgrounds. Although I have experience in a range of different programs and settings, I particularly love conducting conversational classes that are relaxed and fun.
My background outside of teaching:
Outside of teaching English, I primarily enjoy spending time in creative pursuits. Whether that is drawing, working on my fantasy novel, playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends or playing Baldur's Gate 3.
