My teaching background:

I began my teaching journey as an intern at ALLC IH Beirut, where I gained hands-on experience in classroom instruction and curriculum development. I later worked as an ESL tutor at Sunrise After School, teaching English to non-native speakers. With expertise in conversational skills, accent refinement, and Business English as well as Arabic, I’ve taught a diverse range of students, from young learners to professionals, helping them achieve their language goals with tailored approaches.

My background outside of teaching:

I serve as the Executive Director of the International Armenian Literary Alliance (IALA). In the past, I have worked with the Golden Apricot International Film Festival, Creative Armenia, the Tumanyan International Storytelling Festival, Jusoor, the Armenian Institute, EVN Report, and other mission-oriented organizations. I hold a BA degree in English Language and Literature (which I completed across Armenia, Lebanon and Ireland), and an MA degree in Cultural Studies from SOAS, University of London.
