Hey there! I'm Jenna, a passionate teacher from South Africa living in the UK. I have 6 years of teaching experience and a 120-hour TEFL course. I have been a pre school teacher for 2 years , and then a primary school assistant and primary teacher for 4 years. Since moving to the UK, I was a preschool teacher, and I am now a learner support assistant for high school students. Let's embark on a learning adventure together and make studying fun and rewarding!
My teaching methodology:
My teaching background:
I have 6 years of teaching experience . I have been a pre school teacher for 2 years , and then a primary school assistant and teacher for 4 years. I also have a 120 hour TEFL course. I love studying and furthering my career , I started with a degree in psychology , then found my passion in teaching and decided to do a post graduate , and now in a few years I’d love to do my honours and masters in teaching too . I used to teach pre school children aged 3-4 years of age, and I have now moved into a learner support assistant role where I work with children with extra needs in the high school environment.
My background outside of teaching:
I grew up in South Africa where I started a degree in Psychology in 2014. I finished within 3 years. I then decided to go into teaching instead after that. I lived in South Africa for 25 years. I have a huge family, and we all loved to travel the country, explore new foods, lifestyles, and just be together as a family. My partner and I moved in together 6 years ago. We had a Pug named Molly. She was extremely hyper and loved being outdoors like us. Last year we decided to uproot our lives and leave behind our dog and family for a better life here in the UK. We have absolutely loved it and been able to travel and explore. We miss our family and friends so much, and cannot wait to see them again.
