I have had a long career in financial services working in different parts of the world. I lived in HK, Singapore, Bangkok, Riyadh, and Doha as well as in London. I have also worked in start-ups and have been an advisor to companies on their business development. I can discuss a range of topics, and help you improve your fluency.

I believe in first of all listening to the needs and preferences of the student. My inclinations are towards using real and authentic materials, whether they are recent news articles or video clips, as well as local travel guides and reviews etc.

I'm new to teaching but I enjoy meeting people and I have lots of experience in business and financial services (I started work in the City of London way back in 1981.

If you would like to focus on English in the workplace, or on travel-related language I hope we can connect. I'm very personable and enjoy meeting new people from around the world. I've held senior management positions in large organisations, and have also rolled my sleeves up in small start-ups both in finance-related areas and outside that sector.
