Moreno Morreale
Bio:
Hello everyone, I'm Moreno, and I graduated in French and English Language, Literature, and Translation from the University of Palermo. I recently obtained a diploma as a teacher of Italian as a Foreign Language from Dilit. I grew up in a bilingual environment as both Sicilian and Italian are spoken in my family. I am 26 years old and from Palermo, Sicily. Currently, I am learning Greek, a beautiful and fascinating language.
My teaching methodology:
My teaching background:
I started my journey in online teaching almost 3 years ago, and so far, I have had the pleasure of conducting nearly 400 lessons, receiving excellent reviews on various websites. I completed an internship at a CPIA in the city of Palermo, totaling 150 hours of teaching. Subsequently, during my Dilit training, I accumulated additional hours of classroom teaching. At the end of this last experience, I obtained the Dilit diploma for teaching Italian as a Second Language (LS/L2). My lessons place the student at the core, focusing on their needs and study methods. I prefer a method that strikes a balance between language acquisition and learning, aiming to enhance the student's skills both consciously and unconsciously. The lessons can always adapt to the student's level and needs because I believe that a too rigid approach is not particularly effective.
My background outside of teaching:
I worked for humanitarian associations and as a musicians for years. I have a degree in English and French language, literature and translation and I have experience in the catering sector.
