I’m an English teacher with 15 years of teaching experience who is passionate about helping others acheive their educational goals. My teaching background:
Since 2021, I have been teaching English as a foreign language in one-on-one online classes to students of all ages. My teaching focuses on optimizing spoken skills, such as listening and pronunciation, improving reading and writing, expanding vocabulary, and deepening grammar understanding. While I enjoy working with adults, I also appreciate the wonderful energy that children bring to class. Ultimately, the most important factor is building a harmonious connection with each student. I am passionate about language and the study of words—for instance, the word "personality" comes from the Latin "persona," meaning mask. Together, we can achieve both broad goals, like improving pronunciation, and specific ones, such as writing professional emails. Because every learner’s purpose for studying English is unique, I adapt course materials to meet individual needs and ensure a personalized learning experience.
My background outside of teaching:
In addition to my experience teaching English, I personally understand the challenges and rewards of learning a new language. I have spent years studying Spanish and Hindi/Urdu, and I’ve lived and traveled in countries where I needed to communicate in these languages. Travel is one of my greatest passions, alongside music, which I believe is a universal language. I hold bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and Philosophy. Since 2018, I’ve embraced a nomadic lifestyle, typically living in one place for about six months before moving to the next. I’m always eager to learn about new cultures and cherish the opportunity to engage in unique cultural experiences.
