Bio:
I’ve been teaching English for over 6 years now. Throughout these years I’ve tried different platforms for teaching. I’ve held considerable number of group/private classes at different language institutes. Since covid-19 pandemic started, I’ve been holding different types of language lessons online and I’m quite familiar with the concept. My classes have always been interaction-based and I’ve tried a variety of materials such as audio files, music, movies, TV material, books and so on in them.
My teaching methodology:
- According to the students' learning style, I will prepare slides that include proper stages towards teaching the target language.
- I'll occasionally send relevant YouTube videos to the learners so they could experience the language through context.
- Learners will be asked to do some homework for each session.
- Audio files are occasionally used to improve learners' listening skills.
- At the end of each session, learners are provided with proper feedback.
My teaching background:
I have held considerable number of classes throughout my 6 years of experience. I have had group and private classes at different language institutes. It has been over 2.5 years that I have been working online and had invaluable experience working in this platform. I'll design a personalized lesson plans according to learners' needs and preferences. In each session grammatical structures and relevant vocab are taught through a general context. I can recommend helpful printed/online resources to make the most of our time.
My background outside of teaching:
I have held a master's degree in civil engineering. Yet, I have always been interested in reading and writing. Literature is my biggest passion in life. I occasionally write fictional stories and enjoy being drowned in the world of imagination. I am also passionate about music. In my view, singing along with English songs will improve your pronunciation skills.
