English is your key to unlocking the world! I'm here to help you practice speaking English fluently so that you can meet your personal and professional goals. The best way to improve your English is to practice! Together we can work on conversation, grammar, listening, and reading. In our first class, I will get to know you and your needs so I can design lessons just for you. Above all else, I want you to feel comfortable and confident communicating in English in any situation. My teaching background:
I have been a teacher for over 12 years working with students from all over the world. I love helping my students improve their English and make progress towards their personal and professional goals. I worked in an IELTS test prep center for students and professionals preparing to go abroad to English speaking countries. I also worked in international schools in China and Cambodia. I have been an online teacher for over five years. I enjoy helping my students practice English conversation, pronuciation, and grammar. I always strive for our classes to be both productive and fun!
My background outside of teaching:
I graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Political Science. My hobbies are writing, reading, and performing stand-up comedy. I love learning new things and I love to travel. In 2011, my wife and I moved to China to teach English. Since then, we have been living, teaching, and traveling all around the world together. We also have a blog and a YouTube channel where we share our travel experiences and help others follow their travel dreams.
