Veronica Fontanini
Bio:
Ciao a tutti! My name is Veronica and I am a native Italian speaker. I would describe myself as a patient and helpful tutor. I create customized lessons based on your needs and interests. I will provide you with all the material you need and I will focus on the reading and listening comprehension with the beginners (so they can start to become acquainted with the Italian language) and on conversation and fluency with the intermediate/advanced ones.
My teaching methodology:
My teaching background:
I have been teaching Italian to foreign students since September 2019. I first started in a language school in my home town teaching Italian to foreigners who need to improve their working conditions, so that they can be fully integrated into society. On April 2020 I have started to teach Italian online full-time. I teach to all kind of level, from absolute beginners to advanced students. I have recently started to create classes to prepare students for the PLIDA exam. I own a Master's Degree in Italian Studies and Linguistics and the CEDILS certificate (on teaching Italian as a foreign language).
My background outside of teaching:
I was born in Udine, which is a town in the north-east of Italy, not far from Venice. I travel a lot and I've lived abroad in England, Scotland and in the USA. I love foreign languages, especially English and that's why I achieved level C1 when I took the CAE (Cambridge Advanced English) exam last year. I am currently a digital nomad, that means that I work online and travel. I love to get to know cultures and lifestyles different from mine.
