Bio:

My background includes planning and delivering lessons to children and adults. I give instruction in General English, Business English, Job Interview Practice, Exam Preparation, among others - all with the aim of helping students achieve their goals. In my class, I make sure that students feel heard and understood. I teach in a manner that encourages them to speak without the fear of making mistakes. I hope to see you soon !

My teaching background:

My aim is to see students reach their goal ! I am dedicated to giving lessons of value, whether business english, english for travel, preparation for interviews, I love them all. With 7 years teaching experience, I have come across a variety of students, some very task driven and others looking for conversation in english. I provide lessons using different materials to base the lesson on - eg how to describe feelings, how to get a point across in meetings, etc. I listen well to pronunciation, errors in speech and guide my student to overcoming their uncertainty of when and how to use a particular phrase, the use of idioms, phrasal verbs and tenses.

My background outside of teaching:

I have a soft spot for business. I have opened 3 business' of my own and enjoy helping others to reach their dreams of starting theirs. My passion outside of the classroom is horses. I established a livery yard for horses in my area and enjoy the outdoor spaces. I understand that speaking a foreign language is sometimes daunting and encourage students to get over that feeling of uneasiness when communicating. I consider myself to be patient, kind and motivational - I enjoy a good laugh :)
