Bio:
I am a juggler and homesteader. I live a peaceful life homesteading in the middle of a desert when I am not out traveling. I consider myself a student of life and I enjoy teaching. I just got back from traveling much of Central America where I enjoyed tutoring some teenagers.
My teaching methodology:
I tailor the curriculum to each individual student based on assessing their English ability and their purpose for learning. Classes tend towards meaningful conversation for practice and detecting deficiencies which make the classes more practical. Role playing is a tool that I like to use to virtually put the student in a relevant situation.
My teaching background:
I have taught students of all ages and levels from 3 to 35. I have been teaching as a substitute teacher and a private tutor for over 3 years. I did some private tutoring to some Peruvian children for a couple of months while in Lima.
My background outside of teaching:
My university background is in math, chemistry and engineering. My professional background is in Environmental and Juggling.
