With 20+ years of experience teaching French as a foreign and second language, I help learners from A1 to C1 develop real-world communication skills. My lessons are interactive, structured and adapted to your level, goals and learning style. Whether you want to improve conversation, prepare for exams, or learn French for work, travel or everyday life, I’ll guide you step by step with a practical, communicative approach.

I have extensive experience teaching French as a Foreign and Second Language (FLE/FLS), both in person and online. I have taught learners from A1 to C1, including university students, professionals, business learners and adults with diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. My experience covers general French, conversation, professional and business French, French for tourism and hospitality, as well as preparation for DELF, DALF, TEF and TCF examinations. I have also taught learners who need French for academic, professional or everyday communication. My teaching is learner-centred, interactive and communicative. I adapt lessons to each learner’s level, objectives and pace, combining structured progression with plenty of opportunities to speak and use French in realistic situations. I have extensive experience teaching through Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex and other online learning platforms.

My academic background is specialised in French language education. I hold a Master’s degree in Didactics of French as a Foreign Language from the University of Rouen, France, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Language Sciences with a specialisation in FLE. I also hold a Graduate Diploma in Pedagogy Applied to Teaching French as a Second Language. Having lived, studied and worked in different international and multicultural environments has given me a broad understanding of the challenges learners face when communicating across cultures. I speak French at a near-native level and also have experience using English and other languages in multicultural educational settings. I particularly enjoy working with learners who want to gain confidence, communicate naturally and use French for meaningful personal, academic or professional purposes. I bring patience, adaptability and a strong commitment to helping each learner make steady, measurable progress.
