Bio:
Hi! I’m Lola, a native Spanish speaker from Spain with an outstanding level of English. I’m currently studying International Business and living in New York. Having studied in both Spain and the United States, I understand the challenges of learning and communicating in another language. My lessons are, practical and adapted to your goals, whether you want to improve your conversation skills, grammar or confidence. I want you to feel comfortable, make progress and enjoy every lesson!
My teaching methodology:
- Lessons adapted to your level, interests and personal goals.
- Practical conversations based on real-life situations.
- Clear explanations of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
- Engaging activities using videos, articles, games and everyday examples.
- Friendly corrections and personalised feedback to help you improve.
- Optional exercises to continue practising between lessons. My goal is to create a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes and building confidence.
My teaching background:
I have always enjoyed teaching and helping others learn. From a young age, I began tutoring children and teenagers in a variety of school subjects, including languages. This experience taught me how to explain concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles and make students feel comfortable asking questions. In my language lessons, I focus on practical communication, conversation and confidence, while adapting the content to each student’s level, interests and personal goals.
My background outside of teaching:
I am a native Spanish speaker from Spain and I am currently studying International Business. I have a C1 level of English and extensive personal experience using the language in real-life situations. I spent a full academic year attending high school in the United States and I am now living and studying in New York. These experiences have helped me understand the difficulties of learning another language, adapting to a new culture and gaining the confidence to communicate naturally.
