Audrey Lauzun

Bio:

I am from the US but studying in Scotland. I've also lived in Spain and Peru. I like to personalize my methods based on the student because I know how easy it is to get discouraged when studying language, it's a hard task. But, if you don't find the right style for you, it is also a lot of fun! I like to have an open dialogue with my students and decide what would work best for them together. That being said, I'm a big fan of quizlet, and grammar exercises.

My teaching background:

I tutored at my old high school and am currently getting my undergraduate degree in Spanish, with an emphasis in translation.

My background outside of teaching:

As I am still in University most of my work experience has been hospitality or tutoring. I volunteered at an NGO in Peru (Surf Cerrito) for three months where I was translating, interpreting and working with children. I am also an actress, and have done multiple short films and four shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
