I’m a certified ESL teacher with a Master’s in TESOL and 5+ years of experience helping adults improve English for work, exams, and healthcare. I specialize in Business English, IELTS prep, and Medical English, focusing on speaking, listening, and real-world communication. My lessons are practical, goal-oriented, and tailored to your needs—whether you're preparing for a job interview, a high-stakes exam, or professional conversations in medical or corporate settings.
My teaching methodology:
My teaching background:
I’ve been teaching English for over 5 years, working with learners of all ages and proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced speakers. I’ve had the privilege of teaching students in China and India, both online and in-person, in one-on-one and group settings. My teaching specialties include Business English, IELTS exam preparation, and Medical English, with a focus on practical, real-world communication skills. Over the years, I’ve worked with professionals from various industries, university students, and healthcare workers who needed to improve their English for career advancement, academic success, and better communication in medical settings. My approach is personalized, goal-oriented, and adaptable to each learner’s unique needs. Whether my students are preparing for an important exam, learning to speak confidently in professional settings, or communicating effectively in healthcare, I create lessons that help them achieve their goals.
My background outside of teaching:
Outside of teaching, I have a variety of interests that help me connect with students and bring a well-rounded perspective to my work. I’m passionate about working out, cooking, and baking, which allow me to stay creative and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Traveling is another love of mine, and it’s given me the chance to explore different cultures and languages, broadening my understanding of the world. I’ve also had the enriching experience of living in India, which deepened my appreciation for cultural diversity and the role communication plays in bridging gaps between people. These hobbies not only keep me energized and inspired but also help me bring fresh, engaging ideas and a global perspective into my teaching approach, making my lessons more dynamic and relatable to students from all backgrounds.
