I have tutored English online for almost three years and in that time have taken 2000 online classes. My students have been from all over the world, on various platforms and with unique needs. We will reach your goals because I know what it takes to support and guide you. I also take responsibility as a coach and guide during my sessions. I must push myself to be the best tutor I can be for my students. If I do not continue to grow I can't expect you to! A large number of my current students seek assistance and preparation for moving to English-speaking countries such as the UK and Canada. I take a student-centred approach, making sure all students develop a far greater understanding of English than when they started our sessions. Everything I have mentioned so far is with one eye on maximising your confidence and your talk time. I am able to adjust methods and resources depending on your needs to ensure you can use and understand the language in every single session.

My general background outside of teaching is in logistics management. I was first a shipping co-ordinator and later an assistant shipping manager for a trading company. I was with the company between January 2015 and April 2022. This professional experience allows me to conduct specialised business English lessons with students; highlighting vocabulary as well as cultural expectations when using English in the workplace. I have first-hand experience of being in meetings and presentations as well as KPI index performance reviews. I can therefore cover just about everything a student needs in terms of target language for a workplace environment. Phrasal verbs, collocations, idioms - no problem!! For a non-work focus - my wide-ranging interest in culture, wildlife, history and geography means we have an everlasting selection of subjects to look at. I can plan and conduct lessons using this wide-ranging interests and academic background in Classical history.
