Bio:
I am someone who believes in helping students with not just grammar and vocabulary acquisition, but also with becoming braver in their use of the language. Having spent years learning a wide variety of languages, I know where the pitfalls in English and in French are, and am well-placed to offer a big-picture view of the language that does not shy away from the nitty-gritty.
My teaching methodology:
My teaching background:
I have been teaching for the last 6-7 years young professionals and students English and French for a variety of purposes. I have taught both languages from a basic to an upper-intermediate level, and have experience with journalistic writing, press-releases and English exam preparation.
My background outside of teaching:
A student in Economics, I work on linguistics and culture in an economic sense, so I am at ease with the culture behind our language. Born and bred in a British environment in Singapore, and then studying in France gives me added insight into the current affairs of the UK and of France.
