Bio:
I was born in the US and spent my college years divided between Buffalo, NY and Washington, DC. where I began teaching international groups from the former Soviet Union, Taiwan and Japan. Then I began teaching in Brazil (where I live today) at English schools, colleges and companies.
My teaching methodology:
Well, with general conversation, I like to use pictures and other images as the topics of discussion. If we don't use images, we can get texts to comment on while looking at key phrases and learning alternatives, It depends on the student's needs. For example, if it's Ielt's speaking preparation, we get the most common speaking subjects to work on your presentation and fluidity.
My teaching background:
I have about 14 year of experience teaching general English learners of all levels in Brazilian language schools. During this time I also taught Ielts preparation and travel English both inside and outside the institutions.
My background outside of teaching:
I take pride in providing a relaxed atmosphere, having international experience and sharing lesser-know cultural aspects.
