Bio:

I am a professional teacher from Cape Town with many years of experience, both in the classroom and business. I have a broad spectrum of knowledge and experience in fields such as journalism, media, engineering, business and philosophy. My approach to teaching is descriptive and narrative, rather than prescriptive, with the goal of quickly building vocabulary and fluency.

I specialise in teaching English to adults, and have 2 years classroom and online teaching experience. My breadth of experience and depth of knowledge place me in a good position to help students in any number of life contexts.

My background outside of teaching:

I began my career in the mechanical engineering field, and after qualifying, taught in the faculty for 6 years. During this time I completed a post-grad Higher Diploma in Post School Education. I also have a Masters degree in philosophy and a CELTA certificate.
