Bio:
Hi, I'm Anouk a TEFL-certified teacher who's lived in six countries and taught 15,000+ lessons to 550+ students worldwide. I'm a native English speaker, fluent in Dutch, conversational in French and Spanish. I teach English for all levels and Dutch for beginners. Not just fluent fearless. Whether you're prepping for a job, moving abroad, or helping your child learn, I'll meet you where you are. My students stay because they feel safe, supported, and seen and because we make real progress.
My teaching methodology:
I want to offer my students a fun personalized learning experience that helps them build their confidence! I have a lot of patients as I understand how difficult it can be to learn a second language. I offer my students a relaxed classroom with fun interactive lessons, where they are happy to learn!
I can help my students with all of the basics including; reading, listening, speaking, writing, pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary.
I believe that this leads to a path of success, that will help you achieve your goals! I understand the necessity of learning a new language and building up your confidence in a language.

My teaching background:
Real-world learning with structure and flexibility. Focused on pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and the kind of communication that actually works in everyday life. For English learners: All levels welcome, from complete beginners to advanced students polishing fluency, business communication, or exam skills. Whether you're 3 or 80, whether you need help with a presentation or want to chat more confidently, you're in the right place. For Dutch learners: Beginners build a strong foundation in speaking, listening, and basic grammar. We'll start with practical Dutch, greetings, ordering food, asking for directions and grow from there. Dutch can be tricky, but it doesn't have to feel that way. Where tiny voices grow and global ones resonate. That's the space created in every lesson. Students aged 3 to 80+ thrive here because the teaching adapts to different learning styles, goals, and paces. Above all, patience matters. Learning a language takes time, and every moment counts.
My background outside of teaching:
I've taught 550+ students and over 15,000 lessons online. Before teaching, I worked in customer service, hospitality, and childcare. Roles that taught me how to connect with people quickly and genuinely. I was fully educated in English through the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, earned my TEFL certification in 2021, and have since started a BA in International Business and Languages. Living abroad most of my life has given me deep empathy for anyone navigating a new language in a new place. When I'm not teaching, you'll find me exploring new cities, hunting down the best local food markets, or swimming laps to clear my head. Traveling, trying new foods, and staying active are how I recharge and stay curious about the world. Every border you've crossed was just training for this voice. Now let's build it.
