Each lesson is designed around you : your goals, your pace, your interests. I use a variety of methods to make sure all key skills are developed—reading, writing, listening, and especially speaking. You’ll find a balance of structured grammar and vocabulary practice, with authentic material, as well as real-life communication activities to build confidence. I create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and progressing at your own pace.

Students can expect my classes to be dynamic, interactive, and tailored to their individual goals. Since I’m perfectly bilingual in English and French, and also current in Spanish, I can easily adapt explanations and exercises to fit each learner’s needs.

I’ve taught languages in different settings, starting back in high school and university when I tutored both younger children and teenagers in French and English. More recently, I worked for a year as a French Assistant Teacher in a private bilingual school in Ecuador. I also taught French online for one year, working with students as young as six, up to adults preparing for exams like the DELF and TEFAQ. I’ve also supported English students with their GCSEs, an exam I know very well. I enjoy teaching children —I design creative lessons with games and interactive activities. As I work as a summer camp animator, keeping learning fun for children comes naturally to me. Through these experiences, I’ve gained the ability to adapt my approach to different ages, levels, and goals, always with patience and encouragement!

Beyond teaching, I’ve always enjoyed sharing and celebrating culture. I’ve led cultural events that highlight French traditions and love discovering new ones myself. I have an international background: I grew up in London, spent a year in Ecuador, studied in The Netherlands for a year, and lived in Madrid. Academically, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Foreign Languages (English and Spanish) with a focus on business and communication, as well as a Certificate as a Translation Assistant. I also completed a Master’s degree in International Communication. These experiences have given me a broad perspective and help me connect easily with students from all walks of life.
