This group course allows a maximum of 2 students with a single computer to join the meeting.

Many students feel they would benefit from listening to others and learning as a group or team! Whether you wish to organise a group class for general English speaking practise, IELTS, FCE, CPE, B2 First, Linguaskill or a Business English group course, allow me to design a course that encompasses all the critical skills your group requires.

Booking is easy! Simply follow the steps below to book your group course with friends, family or team mates on Langu:

• First, view my availability on my Langu calandar

• Decide on a time slot you will all be able to attend

• Then, each individual student follows the Langu booking option as normal

• One of the participants must book the time slot of their choice from my Langu calendar

• I will receive a Langu invite from only one participant separately

• One of the participants will then click GO TO CLASS to participate in the lesson

• Each participant can participate and leave the lesson whenever they wish

• The Grammar and Functions sections are divided into four stages: Introduction, Focus, Practice, and Task.
  The language is introduced in a recorded conversation or in a reading text.

• There will be questions to check your understanding of the text.

• The Focus section highlights the main areas of the language introduced in the previous stage and asks some questions about how we form and use the language. The notes in the Review section help answer these questions.

• The Practice stage has activities to practise the language from the Introduction, using the answers to the Focus questions as a guide. The aim is to practise speaking as much as possible.

• There are further written practice exercises in the Review.
  The section ends with a more open task to practise speaking and communicating in pairs or groups.

You are offered a variety of interesting activities in which you discuss the topic of the unit and exchange ideas about it. You will learn important new words and phrases which you can use when you carry out the tasks in the unit.

In the Vocabulary Section you can find definitions and examples, and listen to the pronunciation of new vocabulary. Do further practice exercises.

In the Reading section you will read authentic articles on a variety of topics from the Financial Times and other newspapers and books on business. You will develop your reading skills and learn essential business vocabulary. You will also be able to discuss the ideas and issues in the articles.

In the Listening Section you will hear authentic interviews with businesspeople and a variety of scripted recordings. You will develop listening skills such as listening for information and note-taking.

The Language Focus Section focuses on common problem areas at Upper Intermediate level. You will become more accurate in your use of language.

The book also contains a Case Studies Section and Review Section in which your tutor will assess your understanding of each respective unit.
